The Academic Clinical Research Office (ACRO) is an agency under the supervision of the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University. It was approved for establishment by the Khon Kaen University Council on January 9, 2013. Its main objective is to be a clinical research administration agency that provides services that meet international standards and is self-reliant.

Battery and New Energy Science and Technology Factory

Innovation in energy storage materials for a sustainable future
Lithium-ion batteries are a mature technology. Although further developments are underway, the demand for rechargeable batteries is increasing significantly, and new innovative technologies are needed. Our efforts are related to the development of battery electrode materials from rice husks and end-of-life solar panels. Many new technologies are under development, such as sodium-ion batteries extracted from minerals such as rock salt.

ศูนย์บริการสู่ชุมชน มีบทบาทหน้าที่รับผิดชอบการเผยแพร่องค์ความรู้ งานวิจัย เพื่อการประยุกต์ใช้โดยเชื่อมโยงกับภาคอุตสาหกรรม เกษตรกรรม และการบริการ บริการวิชาการด้านต่างๆ เช่น ให้คำปรึกษาด้านการลงทุน วิชาชีพทางสุขภาพ เช่น ด้านทันตกรรม ด้านเทคนิคการแพทย์และกายภาพบำบัด เพื่อขยายระบบการให้บริการวิชาการแก่ชุมชน ในลักษณะศูนย์บริการเบ็ดเสร็จ ทั้งภายในและภายนอกมหาวิทยาลัย องค์กรภาครัฐและเอกชนและปฏิบัติหน้าที่อื่นตามที่ได้รับมอบหมาย

สถานบริหารจัดการงานวิจัยคลินิก คณะแพทยศาสตร์
สถานบริหารจัดการงานวิจัยคลินิก หรือ Academic Clinical Research Office (ACRO) มีสถานะเป็นหน่วยงานในกำกับสังกัดคณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ได้รับการอนุมัติจัดตั้ง จากสภามหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นเมื่อวันที่ 9 มกราคม 2556 โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์หลักในการก่อตั้ง คือ เป็นหน่วยงานบริหารงานวิจัยคลินิก โดยให้บริการที่ได้มาตรฐานระดับสากลและสามารถพึ่งตนเองได้

พัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่จากทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา จัดเก็บ และเพิ่มรายได้
ดำเนินการร่วมกับภาครัฐและเอกชนอย่างมีความรับผิดชอบ เป็นธรรม เป็นประโยชน์แก่ทุกฝ่าย
เอื้อต่อการวิจัย พัฒนา และสร้างนวัตกรรมที่เป็นประโยชน์ทั้งในเชิงวิชาการและเชิงพาณิชย์ของประเทศไทย
พัฒนาคุณภาพการผลิตแบตเตอรี่ยุคใหม่และเทคโนโลยีพลังงานใหม่อื่นๆที่เกี่ยวข้องให้ได้รับการรับรองมาตรฐานระดับประเทศและระดับสากล เช่น มาตรฐานผลิตภัณฑ์อุตสาหกรรม (มอก.) มาตรฐาน IEC เป็นต้น
รับบริการวิจัย ผลิต วิเคราะห์ และให้คำปรึกษาจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญเฉพาะด้านคุณภาพและความปลอดภัยของแบตเตอรี่และเทคโนโลยีพลังงานใหม่ที่เกี่ยวข้องอย่างมีมาตรฐาน
ดำเนินการเพื่อรองรับการเป็นหน่วยงานทดสอบผลิตภัณฑ์แบตเตอรี่ที่มีมาตรฐานระดับประเทศ และระดับสากล

โรงงานแบตเตอรี่และพลังงานยุคใหม่ สำนักงานอธิการบดี

นวัตกรรมในวัสดุจัดเก็บพลังงานเพื่ออนาคตที่ยั่งยืน
แบตเตอรี่ลิเธียมไอออนเป็นเทคโนโลยีที่พัฒนาแล้ว แม้ว่าจะมีการพัฒนาต่อไปอีก แต่ความต้องการแบตเตอรี่แบบชาร์จไฟได้ก็เพิ่มขึ้นอย่างมาก ดังนั้นจึงจำเป็นต้องมีเทคโนโลยีนวัตกรรมใหม่ๆ ความพยายามของเราเกี่ยวข้องกับการพัฒนาวัสดุอิเล็กโทรดแบตเตอรี่จากแกลบและแผงโซลาร์เซลล์ที่หมดอายุการใช้งาน เทคโนโลยีใหม่ๆ มากมายอยู่ระหว่างการพัฒนา เช่น แบตเตอรี่โซเดียมไอออนที่สกัดมาจากแร่ธาตุ เช่น เกลือหิน
